How to make the most of your commute or road trip delays

Of all these travel tips my favorite would have to be "taking a course" or "learning a new language." How do you spend your time while waiting for a long commute or a flight delay?

If you have a smartphone, this is a no-brainer. There are so many apps to keep you busy during your travel (if you're not the one behind the wheel!) A typical day of driving for me wouldn't be without something getting accomplished while being on the road.
