Crabs are so the "it" food in Maryland

What could be more stereotypical of Baltimore than steamed crabs, crab bisque, crab cakes, crab soups...crab dishes in any manner you want to make it? Crabs are so the "it" food that they even have a Maryland Crab Festival in the summer dedicated to the little crustaceans. It's a shame they do not get harvested from the Chesapeake Bay anymore. But crabs aren't the only eats Baltimore boasts of, you have to come here to try the pit beef or coddies. If you're into seafood scenarios, this Maryland town is the place to go.
