Black Friday shopping for those who travel

The last time I remember about black friday shopping, I was stuck in the mall with thousands of other people scrounging for deals in my favorite stores in Houston. That was totally NOT my idea of fun travel. But I did get my share of mementos in Galveston, at The Strand.

Shopping is always an intrinsic part of road tripping. In fact, I make it a point to bring less clothes so I can buy new ones during my trip.

Think black friday is all just about shopping? Hotels and flights now offer discounted rates with bonus shopping money. Check out the Mall of America and Dallas's NYLO, among others.
