Lake Texoma 2010

Hell's Gate is the place to be in Lake Texoma. If you're a happy camper (literally), you'd best sit at the picnic areas where you and your kids can waddle in the gray sand. If you like a deeper adventure, then head to that infamous section of the lake where two colossal cliffs guard a cove that's pretty and almost pristine. There have been times when money was offered to drunks in exchange for jumping off the top of Hell's Gate. It must be 40 feet high on both sides. But even with a sizable bribe, they're too drunk to even say yes.
